Christian Aid Week

This year marks the 80th anniversary of Christian Aid, founded in response to refugees following the 2nd world war. Unfortunately the need is as great now as it was 80 years ago and so just as Christians did then, we must respond to today’s wounded world.

Zetland Park celebrates Christian Aid Week every year but this year we would like to really go to town with an auction, with sharing food and with playing and laughing together.

You are therefore cordially invited to an auction of gifts and promises with food and games. To be held at Zetland Park Methodist Church, Redcar. From 1.30 (with the auction to start at 2.00).

If you would like to offer a promise (e.g. to drive someone somewhere, weed their garden, do the ironing, etc.) then, please, write it on a slip of paper (or email it to me) as follows

If you have anything you would like to donate to the auction, whether something pre-loved or something you have made just let me know.

There is no admission price, though donations are welcome, but could you let me know if you are coming so that I have an idea of numbers for food. If you can’t attend in person, the auction will be in the chapel, and you can join us on zoom.
