Farewell to Rev'd Alan Coates

After 19 years of service and dedication to the service, we have said our goodbyes to the wonderful Rev'd Alan Coates. Rev'd Alan has served loyally in the Esk Valley, and was a welcome face up moor and down dale, chatting to everyone as he went along. A listening ear, a voice of wisdom, and a caring soul. He had a real love for rural ministry and will be very much missed by the communities he tended. We pray that both Alan and Penny have a great new season as they start their time in retirement, but we are sure that Alan will never be far from a word or two at gate post wherever he goes next. We thank them for all their service as a family during their time at Danby manse and send all of our love with them onto the new home.
