Pumpkins & Scarecrows!

The annual Pumpkin festivities once again arrived in Loftus and the doors of Hope Church were opened up wide for families to come along. This year the church also invited the local community to take part in displaying Pumpkins and Scarecrows and it was great to see the whole community coming together to get involved.Families were able to make crafts and help themselves to free lunches thanks to funding from Together Middlesbrough and Cleveland. Families enjoyed the story of the pumpkin gospel, learning about how God picks us even though we are imperfect. He takes out the yukky bits inside of us, all our sin, and carves a great big smile on our faces. We then shine out as light in the world.
